What is vectorizing?

It converts a pixel (raster) image into vector paths, so the result scales to any size without ever getting blurry or pixelated.

What images vectorize best?

Logos, icons, line art and simple illustrations with flat colors trace cleanly. Detailed photographs are not a good fit for vectorizing.

What file do I get back?

A scalable SVG you can open in design tools, resize infinitely and use for print or large displays.

Can I vectorize a photo?

You can, but photos have too much detail to become clean vectors — vectorizing is meant for graphics and artwork.

Is vectorizing free or premium?
